Weekend Blog 13.07.24 – A Ring of Roses

Hello everyone.

Firstly, congratulations to our lovely Year 6 pupils on their SATs results. Well done.

A RING OF ROSES

Wow! For those who watched the Year 6 production of ‘A Ring of Roses’ you will know what I’m saying when I describe it as “unbelievable”. These were Year 6 pupils performing a musical play with such professionalism. Their comic timing, characterisation and collective energy can only be described as outstanding. Thank you to Miss Mann for taking the photos.

ATTENDANCE MATTERS

As a school, our overall attendance this year is 95.6%

TRULEIGH HILL TRIP

Dolphins Class enjoyed a trip to Truleigh Hill YHA where School Without Walls offered them a range of opportunities despite the persistent rain. They all left covered in clay and mud but with huge smiles.

BEACH TRIP

Minnows and Ocean Class enjoyed their beach trip this week.

POND LIFE

Baby Toads were donated this week. Thank you Daisy and Ava’s family for your kindness.

HARLEY’S CORNER

“It’s not often you meet thespians. Actor types. Those who adorn the stage and share their acting and singing talent. Well, this week I mingled with some of the cast of ‘A Ring of Roses’. They smelt lovely. Are you up for a bit of singing on Sunday Grandma?”
