Weekend Blog 24.05.25 – Have a Lovely Half Term Break

Hello everyone.

Over the last four and a half years we have introduced a new website, weekend blogs, a bus, wraparound care, an underwater tunnel, new toilets, a concept curriculum and Funky Friday Assemblies. Children don’t wear uniform on their birthdays and parents have helped build a pond, pizza oven and fire pit. We have a mini bus that takes pupils to sporting events and the children are enjoying using iPads as part of their learning. We have cleared clutter, developed the Early Years outside area and carpeted certain parts of the school. So what next?

BUILDING UPDATE

In the Autumn we will have a new classroom, a new staffroom, new perimeter fencing, the artificial grass area will be replaced and we will be working with a building surveyor to extend the front entrance to make it more welcoming and spacious for parents and visitors.

The big news though, is that we will be offering nursery places as part of the school. We will be the only provider of nursery places for 2-4 year olds on the beach. Our Nursery will be open up to anyone who needs this provision. More details regarding opening hours, staffing, fees etc will be shared once the building work has been completed. Watch this space!

OSCAR

Congratulations to Elsa (Year 4) on being presented with an Oscar. She is quite simply fantastic! Elsa only joined the school at the start of Year 4 and English isn`t her first language. She makes friends easily because she is kind and thoughtful. According to her class teacher, Elsa works enthusiastically in all lessons. and is always asking and answering questions. Outside of school, Elsa continues her strong work ethic, practising the piano daily and even learning how to life save. What a superstar! Well done Elsa.
