FUNKY FRIDAY

Thank you to the many parents and grandparents who attended our Funky Friday assembly yesterday. It was certainly a hot one!

OSCAR

Congratulations to Hugo (Year 6) on receiving an Oscar. Mr Collinson described Hugo as the type of learner who makes being a teacher an utter joy. Hugo knows the power of kindness. He is a wonderful friend, and he demonstrates care and attention for others every single day. Hugo has a fabulously dry sense of humour – and always knows when to use it, but also when it’s time to get focused on learning. Mr Collinson said “I can honestly say that never before have I worked with a child who has had such a thirst for understanding the very fabric of the universe……I wouldn’t be at all surprised if they ended up a renowned thinker at a prestigious institution. A professor perhaps”. Well done Professor Hugo Alderton.

GOLD AWARD

Congratulations to Skylar (Reception) on being presented with a Gold Award. It was a double whammy for her as she also received a Golden Ticket.

GOLDEN TICKETS

Golden Ticketers this week are: Bluebell and Skylar (Minnows), Eliza and Jenson (Seashells), Payton and Freya (Starfish), Millie (Dolphins), Stanley and Joseph (Lighthouse), Jim and Lily (Coral), Katie and Yvie (Ocean)

RUGBY

Zoe Harrison and Tatyana heard two red roses rugby players were at a training session Sunday. Lyla and Lincoln both got a chance to train with them and have a cheeky picture. We have a passion in the family for rugby. Hove Rugby Club hosts England players ahead of World Cup 2025 – BBC News https://share.google/RIcJVDOY0sQHZocBN
