Happy Saturday everyone.
A parent caught me this week and said how happy our children always look in the weekend blog. Smiles are infectious everybody so give someone a smile today.
Do check out the Beach News magazine that is posted through your letterbox – there are some lovely smiley photographs in there too.
FUNKY FRIDAY ASSEMBLY
Thank you to the many parents and grandparents who attended yesterday’s Funky Friday Assembly. ‘Isn’t She Lovely’ is becoming a bit of a favourite with the children and staff. It sounded lovely with everyone singing. Thank you.
CAPTURED
Here are some learning moments from in and around school this week, captured by Mrs Noble:
OSCAR
Congratulations to Flossy (Reception) on being presented with an Oscar.
Flossy is simply delightful. She lights up the classroom when she arrives in the morning and constantly smiles throughout the day. Flossy is such a positive, friendly and caring child who loves to learn.
She is also the most wonderful helper and last week after PE, she helped her friends with their buttons and shoes. Mrs Thomas says “We love teaching Flossy and we are so proud of her. She is simply wonderful!”.
GOLD AWARD
Congratulations to Tash (Year 3) on receiving a Gold Award this week. In celebration of Tash getting a Gold Award, Mrs Noble gave a rendition of the song ‘Gold’ at breaktime. Thank you Mrs Noble.
GOLDEN TICKETS
Congratulations to our Golden Ticketers: Bowie and Flossy (Reception), Skylar and Maya (Year 1), Raia and Jenson (Year 2), Wilf and Indie (Year 3), Bella and Izzy (Year 4), Rex (Year 5), Lyla and Logan (Year 6). It was a double whammy for Flossy who was also presented with an Oscar.
ATTENDANCE MATTERS
The class with the best attendance this week is Starfish class with 97.9%. The Attendance Randomiser selected Zeus for them to have for a week.
HARLEY TALK
A message from Harley Bear:
ELLA
Ella (Year 6) had a gymnastics competition last week in Maidstone and she achieved 1st place in her age category. She competed in floor and vault and won the judges’ award for both apparatus. Well done Ella.
