CAPTURED
Here are some learning moments from in and around school this week, captured by Mrs Noble:
OSCAR
Congratulations to Emmy (Year 3) on being presented with an Oscar.
Emmy always arrives at school in the morning with wonderful, positive energy. She is friendly with her peers and always seem genuinely happy to see everyone.
According to Mr Joseph – Emmy is phenomenal: she contributes to class discussions, works hard and consistently tries to implement advice on how to improve. She puts so much effort into everything she does. Well done Emmy.
GOLD AWARD
There were no Gold Awards this week, but a Gold Award WILL be presented next week.

HARLEY TALK
A message from Harley Bear:
ELLA
Since September, Ella (Year 3) has been having music lessons with her keyboard teacher, Vic, and the progress she has made has been remarkable. Ella has worked incredibly hard over the past few month – showing commitment, resilience, and a genuine love for learning. She has grown in confidence, technique, and expression, and it has been a joy to see her passion for music flourish. Vic has been fantastic in nurturing her talent, and their work together really shines through in this performance. Well done Ella. Keep it up.
SANTA AND THE PIRATES
Years 2, 3 and 4 enjoyed a trip to the Ropetackle on Thursday, where they watched Santa and the Pirates – a performance all about sharing, thinking of others, kindness and, of course, Christmas. The children were able to join in with the interactive performance by taking part in the pirate dance and singing along to some classic Christmas tunes.
Congratulations to Max, Lincoln and Alfie from Year 4 for winning their (imaginary) shoes, and commiserations to Miss Hampton for being put on the naughty list!
A big thank you to the parents who helped walk the children to the Ropetackle (on what looked like it might be a very rainy day), and to the Ropetackle for inviting us along

NURSERY TIME
This week we were visited by a WSCC Senior Early Years Adviser who was very complimentary about our Nursery and Early Years provision. She commented on the warm and welcoming environment, the calm atmosphere and the purposeful activities. She was impressed by how collaborative the children were when involved in the different activities and how independent they were when tidying up. She said “This is quite possibly one of the best school pre-schools I have visited.” Well done team.
Have a lovely weekend everyone.
