Happy Saturday everyone,

Yesterday was the International Day of Happiness and we used this theme to encourage and inspire the children to make cakes for our Red Nose Day cake baking competition. What can I say?! The quality and standard of cakes that appeared were off the scale. Congratulations to the winners.

Thank you to everyone who donated to Red Nose Day and the after school cake sale. A big thank you to Mrs Bennett for organising the event. It was a fabulous success.

FUNKY FRIDAY ASSEMBLY

Thank you to the many parents and grandparents who attended yesterday’s Funky Friday Assembly. That has to be the best attendance we have had so far. Thank you.

OSCAR

Congratulations to Bodhi (Year 5). Bodhi was nominated by Mr Strudwick because he is “simply amazing”. He is caring, compassionate, hardworking and most importantly…..kind. Bodhi is such a great role model and doesn’t hesitate to help out younger children and those in bus club. Bodhi is so positive and always committed and determined to do well. Bodhi has also been learning the flute and is a star with Stop Motion Animation.

In addition to this, we also received an email from a parent who commented on how Bodhi had noticed their child was upset and nervous in a new swimming class. He reassured her and checked on her throughout the lesson. Well done Bodhi.

GOLD AWARD

Congratulations to Jenny, Lawrie, Nimitan, Reuben, Ronnie, Iris, Flynn, Felix, and Ella. It was a double whammy for Felix – who also received a Golden Ticket this week

Congratulations to our Golden Ticketers: Oscar and Cece (Reception), Kayla and Emilija (Year 1), River and Felix (Year 2), Poppy and Harry (Year 3), Layla and Ella (Year 4), Maisie and Herbie (Year 5), Maxine and Tom (Year 6).

ATTENDANCE MATTERS

The class with the best attendance this week is Coral Class with 98.3%. The Attendance Randomiser selected Derek for them to have for a week.
